Meet Brenda

My name is Brenda Baez and I am born and raised in West Dallas! I am a proud Mexicana! My family is from Rio Verde, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. 

I graduated from SMU with a BBA in Marketing and a BA in Spanish. I went to Dallas College for my first 2 years of college, then transferred to SMU to finish off my education. I currently work in the Marketing industry and love what I do! 

I joined Latina Social Club DFW to meet new latinas in the area since Dallas is growing so much, especially with Latin@s. I’ve always been surrounded by Hispanic communities, even while attending predominantly white institutions but since graduating, I’ve missed that strong community feel. I’m excited to make new connections! I’m open to anything and love meeting new people. I am really excited about the partnerships we have coming for 2025! It’s really cool to see how much we have grown and to see so many other clubs interested in collaborating with us as they see the growth we’ve been having. 

I have a little too many hobbies, but here are some I LOVE to do. Photography, watching movies in movie theaters, trying out new restaurants, playing sports, watching soccer, pilates (new one), running/walking, and my ultimate favorite, going to coffee shops!
