Meet Aida -Event Planner and Coordinator

Hola! My name is Aida, and I’m originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I moved to Dallas, Texas when I was 9 and have been a proud Texan ever since.

As a first-generation Latina chef, I discovered my love for the culinary arts early on, learning from my mother in our family’s restaurant back in Honduras. That passion led me to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts from El Centro College, and since then, I’ve worked in a variety of kitchens—big and small. During the pandemic, I found my true joy as a private chef and event coordinator, crafting meaningful, heart-filled food experiences.

Now, as the Event Planner and Coordinator for Latina Social Club DFW, I’m excited to help create gatherings that celebrate who we are—through culture, food, language, and sisterhood. I joined this community to connect with like-minded Latinas and build something beautiful together.
