Each month, we dive into powerful books by Latina and Latinx authors — from fiction and memoirs to poetry and nonfiction — and gather in person to share food, laughs, and real conversations.

Whether you’re an avid reader or just looking for connection, this book club is a safe, welcoming space where you can be fully yourself. No judgment. No pressure. Just mujeres showing up to learn, grow, and build comunidad — one page at a time.

I’m Christine — a proud 2nd-generation Mexican American from the Rio Grande Valley — and I’m so excited to lead the Latina Social Club DFW’s first-ever Latina Book Club!

This book club is a safe and vibrant space for all Latinas eager to explore our rich history, bold voices, and diverse stories. In these times, when our community is facing so much, there’s nothing more powerful than equipping ourselves with knowledge. As Chicana author Gloria Anzaldúa once said:
“Knowledge makes us accountable.”
